Need Help With Car

hey whats up people im new at this and i just bought my self a 92 240sx
now the lady who sold it to me said that the starter is no good, well i bought the car for 8bills it had no tags nore battery im in love with the car its a dohc single turbo i havent started to work on it yet but im wanting some opinions can you guys tell me if u think thats a rip off or a great project car?

So the ol lady you bought it from turbo'ed it up herself? Or is that what you are planning to do with it?

no thats what the car has stock, is that good or bad ??

umm. they didn't come stock with turbo. So make sure everything is hooked up right and hope she didn't sell it for 800 because she fried the pistons.

they only came with stock turbo on ca and sr engines. well i guess it would be easier to ask, do you live in the states because there is no stock turbo on 240 here.

well i brought the car in from the japan when i was over there for school so i guess thats why it has turbo

do u know what engine it has in it im guessing a ca but find out what it has in it is a a right hand drive since u got it from jdm world?

why would you guess a ca on a 92?
