Service In Brisbane Australia

As we all know Audi are one of the Lamborghini owners. In Australia Lamborghini handle the vehicle imports and sales in Sydney and Melbourne, in the other cities like Brisbane it is handled by Audi. There is one trained technician in Brisbane.
I purchased my car in Sydney because I wanted to buy from Lamborghini, not Audi. I don't know about you but I still feel a bit weird buying from Audi. I live between States and recently serviced my car with Audi Brisbane. I booked it in on the Monday for a Thursday service. I arrived on Thursday morning early, 7.15 and they were there. They me 5 hours so I expected to call them around 1 pm, which I did. At 1 pm they told me the parts only arrived 45 minutes earlier as they were coming from Melbourne and took 2 days. I booked the car in 3 days before. They said it would be another 4 hours. Pissed off I went and saw another movie at the cinema. I should have been working, really it was a waste of time and costs me a half a days work.
The work wasn't completed correctly and I pulled over to the side of the road and rang the technician who told me they would look at the problem when the parts for my car arrived. There is moisture in the rear tail light and side indicator light which need replacing. The driver's window doesn't work too well and they said they'd look at it, they didn't.
I want to get the issues fixed and now am told I can't put my car in for another 2 weeks. The tech went on holidays last week and god forbid something might have happened as they only have 1 Lamborghini trained person in the whole State of Queensland.
I expressed my concerns and am told the technician is too busy to talk to me. I spend a half a million dollars on a car and the technician is too busy to talk to me. ARE YOU KIDDING!!!
Of courses prestige car owners are meant to be 'DIFFICULT' so I guess they won't take my calls now. Can you believe this, I don't think I'm difficult but I am used to service. I have received better service from JEEP then I have from Ferrari or Audi/Lamborghini. I now have to get the parts together, including my new Tubi exhaust, put the car on a truck and send it 900 km to another City to get the work done by professional Lambo guys. I did expect more, but then again it is AUDI.
Not Happy.

Coast boy, sorry to hear you are having a couple of hassles.
I also contemplated ordering my car from Lamborghini (in Melbourne) but when I learned that the Adelaide Audi dealer was being appointed a Lamborghini dealer, I did the deal through them. A big reason was the ease of after sales service. Naturally, you will have more pull if you have bought through the dealer. It doesn't matter what the brand, this is always the case.
I've had excellent service from my local Adelaide dealer Solitaire. I deal directly with the Lambo trained tech who calls me himself re service and parts issues. The service manager is also excellent, treating me as a VIP when I'm in. Of course, sometimes a part won't be available the instant I would like it, but these are rare cars.
One thought - if you can't wait, you could get a tech up from Sydney for the day. It would cost more, but I'm sure they would do it. I'm told it is routine practice for remote customers. I would share the problem with Lamborghini Sydney - after all, they sold you the car so I'm sure they would want to help in some way.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah you are right if I had purchased the car from them they might be a little more accommodating, since I did test drive 2 cars with them. Mate to be honest I have had issues with several car dealerships (maybe its me ;-) I own a Ferrari 360 and gave up getting Brisbane to service it since the head mechanic left and went to BMW. I am getting the Tubi exhaust installed here on the Gold Coast and I'll send the car to Sydney when the clear engine hood arrives in a few weeks and get everything done down there. The next service is at 12,000 Km so I have the rest of the year to work out what I'm going to do. There are a few other guys here on the Coast buying from Sydney so your idea about bringing up a tech for the day is a good one. I can, however see this as creating a 'cross boarder' drama with Audi Brisbane but we'll see. I hope you are enjoying your car as much as I am, it is AWESOME!!!

I'm now over 10,000km so I'm planning my 12K service. The local dealer seems confident. There's nothing really to report, so I'm hoping it will be straightforward.
Glad you are liking the car. I am too!

As I mentioned before, Audi Brisbane are idiots. I was in brisbane recently and decided to do a small experiment... I have a place in Macuirters on Warner st, so it's walking distance... anyway... I walk in there... stand between the two lambos ... Organge Gallardo and Black Murci I think.,.. can't remember... ALL the staff are gulping down pizza in the far corner of the show room... I stood there for TEN MINUTES... and not a SINGLE person walked up to me. Not one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I walked out. Mental note - I'd rather wipe my bottom with sandpaper than deal with them.
PS. I am picking up my Maserati on Wed in Sydney!!! Yay!!! :D If anyone is up for a cruise through the streets of Eastern Suburbs, let me know! ;) hehehe I got a Tubi, so should make a decent impression hehehe :evillol:
