I Was Wondering If Any Guys Out There Could Help Me. I Recently Did Valve Covers On My 3.0 Sho And Took Apart Intake And Clean It And Replaced All The Gaskets. I Had A Couple Of Leaky Fuel Injectors So I Replace Upper And Lower O Rings Now I Cant Maintain Fuel Pressure. I Know None Of The Injectors Are Leaking But I Cant Get Her To Fire. Im Getting Planty Of Spark And She Just Wont Fire. But Every Time I Hiot The Bleeder On The Rails I Get Nothing And If I Do Get Fuel Its Gone In A Few Mins. Im Thinking Fuel Pump. Let Me Klnow If Ya Have A Suggestion. Thanx

You should hear the pump when you first turn on the key. It'll hum for a few seconds and then shut off. Is that happening? If so the pump "should" be good. How about the fuel filter? Did this just happen after you messed with the injectors or did it run for some time after and then start acting funny?

this happened after i messed with the injectors. i do hear the pump and it ran before i took it apart. but i know the injectors arent leaking m going to try soapy water on all the fittings to see if theres a leak. im also wondering if its cause the tank is only a 1/8 full. i appreciate you trying to help me. let me know what you think.
thank you

You really shouldn't have to do the soapy water thing. If there was a leak you would have gasoline coming out wherever it is. If you turn the key on and hear the pum go on and then off the system should be pressurized. You should be able to go tho the pressure test valve and push the little core valve in and you should get a spray of gas. If you don't you have a problem between the tank and the fuel rail. As I said, if it is leaking around the injectors you should be able to see gasoline spray or at least smell it. There may be something with the fuel pressure regulator giving you some grief. Maybe someone with more experience will lend a hand here.
