Fog light Trouble

I have a problem with fog lights not staying on. I turn them on and in about 5 minutes if not sooner they turn and and won't stay on. I don't know if it would be something getting hot or if would be something in my switch. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did u do to fix it so that they stay on when u want them on.

could be your relay, my brother has an 86 t/a and
his fog lights done that same thing. his would stay on for 5-10 minutes and go out but we just spliced the fog lights into the parklights so they come on with the park lights.

If I do slpice them together with the park lights is there a better place then others to do it at or is anyplace good?

its easy if you know what your doing, splice them into the wires that go into the side marker lights on your fenders.

So I should the the fog light wires directly from the foglights to the parking light and then probably just unhook my switch?

you doont have to unhook your switch just dont turn it on, but as a precaution it wouldnt take 5 minutes to pull the plug on it.
