new car

its finaly time......
i get my first car from my parents soon. were looking at mitsu eclipses and poniacts, so i want an eclipse, stick (of course). so my dads not 'sold' on the mitsu yet. anyways, i need ideas that will help convience him to buy that car. oh im looking at 98-99's mostly cause i like the 2nd generation better than the 3rd. so any help would be great.

get a brochure on the car and show it to your dad, take your dad to a dealership and the dealer can try talk him into it, if you have tried that then, point out all the bad points of pontiacs and all the good points of eclipses, for eg fuel consumption etc.

yah, get his ass to the dealer an let HIM test drive it. also tell him your not gonna race or anything and that you just want a show car or some bullshit lie. yah, whatever you do dont get a domestic. hehe, no offence to domestic drivers, i dont wanna start another "talk shit" thread. late-

non-turbo eclipses have the 140hp chrystler 20a motor straight out of the dodge neon... u could tell him that... say "dodge pretty much makes this car not mitsubishi." tell him that even if it IS a turbo ;)
