I have a '91 civic hatch, which screws do I remove to take off the whole bumper without taking it apart in pieces? Also are there any precautions i should take when removing or putting them back on? Thanks, Alan

Front bumper you take out the lights in the bumper and there are four bolts behind them, take those out and then theres four screws in the fenderwell on the lip of the bumper, should come right off after you take that out. The back bumper has four bolts I belive, two are on the inside, maby someone else can be more specific.

thanks for your reply its the back bumper im looking to take off, there seems to be a lot of rust behind it, there are 2 screws under it, and then smaller screws at the back wheel rim on either side, are these all the screws i should take off? is there any particular order? Thanks

yeah, those large flat head screws on bottom attach the bumper cover to the reinforment bar, those dont come out, and even if you tried the head will probably strip, most are rusted in place.

one on each side, almost right below the taillights, have to take off that back panel to see them.
