No longer completely stock

Well I was gonna post this yesterday (Friday), but right as i hit new thread it told me the server was moving. Dunno if this is necissarily the thermo or not, but the car's revving idling and running a lot smoother, and of course its cooler. Dunno if thats all necessarily the thermo but it's better, so no complaints. One thing tho, my and my friend pulled the wrong part at first lol. Popped the gasket off and i was like "uhhh... this isn't right." Put it back together and no error codes or anything, but still was wondering what it was.

looks like egr that you've pulled off in your picture, maybe you broke loose some carbon build up when you pulled it out, that could explain the better idle.....but it's workin better so who cares. like the old saying "if it aint broke, your not trying"
