Reset my ECU???

can some1 tell me how 2 reset my ECU or gimmie a link that tells me how 2 reset it. i have a 91 nissan maxima gxe

I'm not too sure on the '91 ECU's. But on the '95-99 ECU's located on the ECU, there is a screw located on the left hand side where you just turn it counterclockwise or clockwise and it resets the ECU. Of course you could also disconnect the battery for acouple minutes and that should reset the ECU as well.

I have a 1996 Maxima and I had to dissconnect the battery for over 24 hours....I tried for an hour, then 12 then got ticked off and left it for approx 30 hours and it worked.
