Knocking rod question

While i was driving around, i scoped a 95 Z28 in the fixiables yard across from the junk yard. from what i know, it has a knocking rod and some minor damage to the exteior. not sure how much the guy wants, but it has no radio and its not cleaned up the way it should be, is a knocking rod easy or hard hard to fix? and what should i offer for it if i do decide to buy for a project...

well for the knock, it could either be a worn or dead push rod, if badly worn, you just have to pull the valve covers off, find which one it is, pop the rocker off and pull it out, and if it broke, that gets a little trickier. if not worn or broken, valve lash might be in need of adjusting. as for $$, personally i wouldnt spend more than like 2.5k on it, depending on its specifics...

probly a rod bearing. see if you can fire it up and take a look at the oil pressure, that'll tell ya for sure

It is completly stock, with some seat covers...lol, i didnt get a good glimsp at the odometer due to the fact the dude kept talking and i tend to make eye contact when someone has something to say. It is black, but its kinda light brown because its dirty. its missing the front emblem and it has actual cracks in the body, but not very big at all, perhaps a half of a finger nail. it has a camaro border line on the front window. and has factory z28 badges and i didnt get a to good of look at the motor either. and it has a front bra so im assuming maybe frontal scraps or something.
