yeah, you know i was wondering since when was it such a big deal to like looks i mean the whole fuckin point to drifting is looking good...any moron with bald back tires can fishtail all over the place. but its drifters that make it look H O T !

Then why drive a car that looks like a POS when you're trying to make a car look nice when drifting. I think the paint job makes the drift even better. Bam there's my two cents. Love it or hate it. There isn't such a thing as a "drift paint job", but there are popular pro-drift cars with easily recognizable paint schemes like the RSR or Signal or DRFT cars.

Seriously though, if you have enough for uprgaded turbos, FMIC's, full engine rebuilds and ecu management, a tricked out paintjob aint that much of a hassle

Why waste the time and money (some of these extend from 5k to 10k$ just for the paint) for a lairy paintjob on a car that will be destined to smack a wall every now and then. All the while that money could be used for nessesary repairs. Why do you think so many drifters go with a primered car.
