Broken glass, on my ass.

So, as some of you may know I recently moved to the city and spent all my money on a new appartment with my girlfriend. I was happy as could be, things are really cool right now..

... Until I go out to my car tonight to see my fucking drivers side window all over my drivers seat and my parking space. Go to unlock my door (without thinking) and the lock hole is gone. (too dumb to unlock it so they broke my window) I've got a drivers seat full of glass and the APC gas pedal that was in my glove box. I guess they were going to make off with that and then decided that its only worth 50 cents and if it was too ugly for my car its too ugly for them.. They went through all my shit in my glovebox and hopefully didn't take anything that I can think of so far. Stole my amp, and tried to get my sub box but they wedged it in between the strut bar and the floor so they couldn't get it. Took 4 CDs from me, Redman, The Roots and I think KRS-ONE so they have decent taste in music too.. Hope they enjoy it. Fuckers.

ANNNND, now I have to decide whether to blow a shit load of money I don't have on an alarm, and get a window ASAP. But, if anyone wants it there's just a garbage bag on the window tonight, so feel free to help yourself.

no seriously man that sucks ass. I'v never had my stuff broke into and hope I never dont. Hey 4thgenhatch has windows for sale if your close to him. From what I'v seen alarms usually dont do much to stop people, it just makes them steal it quicker.

OK how about this. I'll steal your car, but I'll leave my car where yours was parked. Sounds like a fair deal to me. YOu dont even have to be there, i'll do it during the middle of the night. You need to hire a large angry man to sit in your car at all times.

I am sorry to hear about your car, I can empathize with you though, today I went to unlock my car and my key wouldn't work. I took a closer look and it appears that someone tried to pick the lock, got frustrated and then tried to pry the entire handle mechanism out of the door. This is the second time someone has singled out my car, the first time they got my stereo. This time they didn't get in and I was lucky enough not to loose anything. The funny thing, my car isn't anything special, basically a dx with a stock looking custom exhaust, intake, 15 inch rims and racing seat covers from schucks. GO figure.
Some people are just lame and try to F with other people's stuff. It ticks me off though.

So, it was pretty shitty luck. Its strange because I knew it was going to happen when I moved here, but I figured my car would last a little longer than 6 days. :(

I got pissed off and took out the hatch cover, and all my stereo now but I still have a job in my old town for now so I've got an hour commute with no tunes. I hate it.

Best buy has some pretty decent alarms going for $150cdn. installed so I think I'm going to go today and make an appointment for one but I'm not sure as though I'm gonna put a stereo back in my car. It sucks that you can't fucking have anything nice. I feel like if I put something back in there, and cover it up again some asshole is just going to break my window again just to see what I have.

So I'm frustrated.

install bulletproof glass all around.... get a new stereo installed... get a pitbul and leave t in the car.... and get one of those alarms they have in southafrica that shoot flames six feet in the air on both sides of your car if someone tries to brake in..... i had someone break into my old accord.... took my portable cd player... my cell phone charger... my old olympus camera that my grandfather gave me.. and around 300 dollars worh of cds.... all from an 84 accord... in a small town nonetheless... damn thieves

Good deal too, I was ready to pay some dude $60 to put it in but the kid at the junkyard told me to go back with him and he'd show me how to do it because its really easy. I couldn't believe how easy of a job it was, and the window wasn't too much money either.
