I just started this as a quick little project to take my mind off some of the other things I'm working on. So far I've masked off the black that the car originally came in and shot a nice metallic red over it. Now I am focusing on removing the tape residue. My future plans include silver pinstripeing to seperate the red and black, red underglow, and maybee some more I.C.E. *Please excuse the pics, they make my paint look like crap for some reason but its almost perfect* Before Paint

Looks very nice! To get it to shine more you might look into wet-sanding lightly with some high grit paper (1000+) and then using rubbing compound. Should smooth everything out.
How about painting the grill that same red?
