quick question.

me and my little brother is still under the hood a working on our Knight Rider car. we have put in the Lt1 now my question, i have the t56 that came out of my wrecked firebird, should i put the 6 speed in the 82 trans am? or should i keep the car an automatic and put the automatic out of my 94 z into it, and put the 6 speed in the 94 z? i had a b&m shift kit put in the automatic. my buddy told me that it would be harder to put a standard tranny into an automatic 3rd gen. and it would be easier just to swap my automatic into the 82 ta and put the t56 in my 94 z28.

You need to buy a new crossmember to put the 6 spd in the firebird. You may also need one for the 94z since its automatic but I am not sure.

thats a tuff call. i would say that you should put the 6-speed in, for the pimp factor. i would imagine that the manual would be slightly more difficult if you have to put in all the linkage and stuff...

how bout we trade my auto for your 6spd
