h23 tranny durability?

I have an H22 engine / H23 tranny combo in my 98 Lude.... would the H23 tranny stand up to 300-325 Horsies with an upgraded LSD, new axles and sticky tires? If not, is there anything to do to a tranny to strengthen it?

On tranmissions, the problem I see most often is the gears being warped or the teeth torn and bent. Often times, it's just an individual gear that gets shot. Since I've never heard of any reports of a blown h23 tranny due to horsepower, I can't really say.
