Heated Driver Seat not working

I recently purchased a 2001 T & C Limited. My wife fell in love with it, so maybe I should say it's hers.
Anyway, it has heated leather seats, but when I bought it, I couldn't really tell if they worked because it was 95+ deg outside. Now that we are having some cooler weather, we found that the driver's seat never gets hot, although the passenger seat will get very hot.
Has anyone had these problems? If so, could it be a fuse or relay. I've checked the fuse box and all I see is one 40A fuse that seems to run both seats, but I'm not positive on that.
Any help is appreciated.

I don't have this problem (or feature in my 2004) but it sounds like it could be a loose connection. I'd suggest you look under the seat, towards the passenger side of the frame is the main connector that connects into the bus system of the wiring harness. On the left hand side you'll see the wire harness for the tilt/fwd/back/up/dwn switch. Just follow these wires to a larger connector and check for a good snap-connection.

Hopefully the connection is it. My wife & I also bought a 2001 T&C Limited. It was fine for 3 months........now nothing but problems.

2001CHY- I'm sorry to hear about that.
Thanks for the help to both of you. However, I did check all the connections under the seat and everything was snapped in real good.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff L.

Not that I need the heat in the seats real soon, but I took it to the dealer and the heater element was burned out. I had it replaced.
Just thought I'd give everyone an update.

How much did it cost you? I have the same problem.

Since we bought it from the dealer, we convinced them to fix it for no-charge as we couldn't test that feature the day we bought it as it was 95+ degrees inside the van.
Anyway, I wish I had a ballpark price, but I know it only took about 30 minutes.
good luck,
Jeff

Jeff,
What did the dealership repair/replace to correct the problem ?
Thanx

They replaced the actual heating element in the seat bottom.
