Hey everyone, I am looking for a nice metallic orange to paint my in progress V35 coupe. Specifically the "Nissan Z orange", if you know what I am talking about. I searched for it at my hobby store, a pep boys and walmart and i still havent found it. I went from Tamiya paints to Plastikote to Duplicolor. If you have built a model and have used that color or you know which company makes it, please let me know. Thanks....
PS I know tamiya has two oranges. I believe TS 31 and TS 38. I could be wrong. But they dont seem metallic on the cap. Correct me if i am wrong. However in the process of looking for this color, I saw the new line of pearl colors which tamiya came out with. It's very nice......

The Color is Sunset Leman. Color Nissan A17
you can go to a car paint shop and ask for this. That costed me 15$ for 4oz praycan (yes it isn't cheap, but I was able to make 3 model with it and it's the perfect color)

Check out www.cobracolors.com. They've got Sunset Lemans ready to airbrush. I will be going to them when I build my Z's.

Huuummm, sunset Leman....
:jump3:
If you want the exact color... go for the original code like Vric said...
If not, you can mixt Testors Klin Red with Klin Yellow... it give something that can be close to what you're looking for buy not exactly the same. House of color make a "Tangerine candy" to put over a titanium color base which is pretty impressive :worshippy but again... not the same as the original.
Or just go with your imagination and mixt paint... the Orange from Tamiya is not metalic... so what, put some Chrome Silver in it... but far from Sunset Leman !!
