Factory Anti theft S14 200sx (Silvia)

All those S14 experts out there, I have a problem.

('97 SII 200sx Limited - Standard except boost gauge and aftermarket alarm / stereo)

First off, 22 months ago I lost my factory central locking transponder (thingy). I was pissed off when Nissan told me $160 for a new one. I could still open the car manually and drive with the key so I decided I'd rather spend $199-$249 on a real immobiliser and get two 'beepers' AND some security - so I bought a CL1500 car alarm.

Well, just 2 weeks ago, I armed the alarm and the CAR'S HORNS (not alarm siren) went off, as well as the hazard lights. I couldn't stop the car doing it so I disconnected the horns and after 45s or so it stopped. When I went to drive off, the car kept flashing and I couldn't drive. (Turned the key and nothing happened)

I traced it down to a blown fuse labelled "Start Signal." I replaced it and the car started. From that time on the power windows wouldn't work and every time I open the doors, the hazard lights flash for about 45secs, then turn off. It also makes a clicking sound in the back drivers sides quarter panel / boot area, which the installer says in the factory anti theft system.

The weird thing is though, I figured my windows have stopped working, maybe its a fuse. I took out the P.Windows fuse (this time under the bonnett) and that fixed the hazard lights activating everytime I disarmed / armed the car.

Anyone know if Nissan do fit some factory system that my P.Windows could be affecting? The installer has said the factory anti theft (Nissan says they don't have one!!!??) is to blame, not the aftermarket alarm.

Any ideas guys.

PS: The installer asked me to try on another 200sx the following:

1. Open the drivers side electric window
2. Close all the doors
3. Lock the car using factory central locking beeper
4. Unlock drivers door (from inside manually)
5. Open the door

Anyone trying this (without aftermarket alarms), what happens? Does the car's horns go off?? Thanks in advance, please post or email me at: glennryan@netlink.com.au
