Damm F@(%^&$ Bakes are killing me!!!

Hey,
My damm brake light came on and when I pump the brakes the damm idle raises....

WTF is going on... lol
The master cyl has been repalced not to long ago and there is plenty of fluid...


I did a search and noticed that some people where having the same problems, but there never said if they fixed it or what the problem was...

sounds like brake booster is goind shitty, that would explain the engine rev because of the loss of vacum.

That bites... Its a new booster as well... :(
Well, thats what I get for buying the cheapest one around... lol

Actually, idle is supposed to raise when you pump the brakes. Are their any other problems that your having with your brakes? Heres a couple tests for you to do...
1.) Hold you foot on the brake pedal pretty hard with the car running. Pay attention to the pedal, does it slowly keep going towards the floor? If it does, you have a bad valve in the master cylinder, or a leak somewhere (probly a wheel cylinder).
2.) Turn the car off and pump the pedal a few times so it gets hard to push, then turn the car on and make sure it drops. If the pedal doesnt get hard to push or it doesnt go back to normal height after turning the car on, you have a bad brake booster.
