Is 180 a good price for window tint? I'm going to get it done tomorrow morning, I've seen to many people looking in my back window and my amp. Btw, I was on a trip to pittsburgh for my kdr national convention. It's a national frat. Anwyays the town sucks dick, but the titty bar was rather fun. They have the 125 dollar room they call it where they'll do whatever for 3 songs for 125... i'm not into nasty bitches but i'd thought i'd throw it out there! Haha, andyways, lemme know what's up with this tinting crapola! Thnx, Ryan.

I paid $125.00 in Houston, TX and the guy showed up at my job to do it... Its been on the car for four years now without a problem... I would say $180 is high but what at are they doing? Both sides, back, and an eyebrow???

Just make sure they are using a high quality tint such as Llumar. Ask about a guarantee against bubbling, colour change, scratching, peeling, etc. Lifetime warranties are not unheard of with today's tint, although it may have been a few years ago.
I overpaid to get my car done... well, some people say so... but I'm happy with the job that was done. I also had my headliner and rear defrost fixed though. I had all glass done except for the windsheild, 7 windows. All in all, it came out to $345cdn to get it done right. Keep in mind, the work came with all of the above warranties and it was done at a reputable franchise that has been around for years, and will still be there if there are issues with it. Materials were $175 on their own, labour was $125, and taxes brought it up to that price.
It wouldn't hurt to look up tint manufacturers online.... might help you make a wiser decision about what kind of tint to use.

I paid 75 for the tint on my Nova, but I supplied the tint. Its been on 3-4 years without problem. Anyways I paid 75 and im pretty sure my Nova would be harder then the camaro (7 different windows to tint) and it was 75. I personally would ask him how much if you supplied the tint because im guessing hers overcharging you on tint.. IMHO
