my 98 s-10 2.2 manual seems to be leaning i bit on the drivers side. from the back it looks as if it has something heavy on that side and not the other. i was wondering if this was normal or what. could it be cause the gas tank is full since its on that side. if u kno why its doing that and possibly how to fix it, that would be wonderful.

my guess would be the leaf or the shock

well if you droped the truck it's the chevy lean. if not replace the leaf spring to fix it then you prob is fixed

did you lower the truck??? i m guessing you did. most times thats the only way you see it. it not very much. maybe 20-30 bucks.i dont remember. it seems the lower you go the more you see it so check that out. if you didnt drop it im not sure whats going on.

The gas tank will NOT cause the truck to have a noticable "lean". You may want to check all the body, bed mounts, suspension (shocks, front coil springs, leaf srpings and all connects for the suspension.)
If you cannot find anything wrong, take it to a autoshop to have a professional look at it. If you haven't lowered it and it has a "noticable" lean, then something is broken.

had the shocks checked when i brought it in for an inspection, they r fine. i checked the mounts..those r fine and it seems that all the leaf springs and other suspension components r fine.

I wrote a long answer then lost it when I got disconnected .
Short version; replaced 4 shocks and springs. Now ordered Air Ride helper air springs from trucksprings.com. $190. Should have put in air springs first.P/N ARL59529
