problem with instrument cluster

Hi I have a question for the group. 3 of my warning lights on my instrument cluster are not working. They are cruise control light, shift light, anti lock brake light. What I'm wondering is are the warning lights in the instrument cluster turned on by some type of light bulb? Or is it something more complex? I couldn't find a haynes manual for 2003 grand am but I managed to find one for a 2000. They seem to be pretty close in the way they were made so I do have a very good idea on how it's done.If it's something other then replacing a bulb I'll let the dealer do it. Also in your opinion would the dealership include this repair under my warranty with pontiac? The car is a 2003 pontiac grand am 3.4 engine
with 26,200 miles.

I appreciate your thoughts

Brad

they should be acivated by a bulb behind teh panel, do they come on when you first put the key in and start it up, if not then it is probably burnt out bulbs. it is something that they might include in your warranty if you still have a bumper to bumper warranty
