Cold Air Pipe (keeping it cool)

I live in a hot climate and my Cold Air Induction Pipe gets incredibly hot which doesn't help at the track. What can I do to get the temp down on the pipe? I thought of wrapping it in header tape or other insulation? Any ideas let me know I am going to the track tomorrow. There should be good whether only 102 degrees (it's been running 112-114 this last week so 102 aint bad).

If it is just for track purposes you should be more worried about the temp of your intake manifold than your CAI. Ether case at the track just put ice on em between runs.
