where are you guys getting you ecus when you turbo the sr20de? I think its my problem. i keep maxing out injectors. ive gone through about 20 so i need to find a good ecu that will chnage my pulse rate.....thanks

usually ppl send them out to JWT to get them reprogrammed but it takes a while so its good to find an extra ecu( i got a 93g20 ecu if needed) and send it out so u can still drive ur car while u wait

whats the typical cost for a jim wolf ecu....and can i get as specific with the tunning with lets say.....the size of my exhaust???? and whats an average time...a month, or longer thanks

it cost around 500-600 dollars.... and they tune the timming, and for aftermarket stuff u got i dont think u can get that specific try there website www.jimwolftechnology.com give them a call... it take like 4-6weeks for u to get it back and ready to roll...

i havent taken my ecu apart yet, so hopefully you can answer my question, is it a standard eprom style chip in the ecu or is it the kind that runs off mutiple chips....the cost is a little high for the jwt ecu....i could keep going through injectors for 3 years before i reached the cost of that thing....i dont plan on keeping the setup that long. so i might just stick with it unless i find a used one for $250 or less. they dont have a whole lot of options for the cost. stillen wants to much too....this sucks its not worth the money, it would be if they tuned it for my car specifically...geez up to $700 for a timing advance.......

they have there own daughter board they solder in... why dont u try a safc or greddy emanage to control ur fuel......the jwt not only timming advance but they re route ur fuel map give u a higher redline and take out the speed limiter...

ive got an safc, it helped a little with the life of my injectors....but didnt cure the problem. i need to figure out all of my options and work from there
