Right inside Head light always on!

My high beam light on the right side stays on even after I turn the car off. (97 BMW -528i) I couldn't find the relays location. there are only four relays (unmarked) above the battery, I unpluged all, but still stays on. Any Suggestion on problem? I think there must be more relays hidden somewhere else!!

Thanks,

Hey there 528,
if you don't see it there (where big dave said), then just under your dash board should be some relays - under the left hand side above the pedals.

I looked in the glove compartment and above the pedals under the dash board, still can't find them?

Any other suggestion?

display panel showing washer fluid low might mean you need the same part....

here ya go update....went to dealer....you need lamp control module...is under kick panel drivers side....part is also used on the space shuttle so hold on to the checkbook...$$$$$$$$$$....around 5 big ones...maybe easier just to plug it back in when you need the brights !!!!
HEY it's only MONEY !!!...only BMW would take something that could be contolled with 4 or 5 ten dollar relays and turn it into a 500 part...just to gid rid of that annoying little click ????

you wanna play you gotta pay !!!!!!!!

Hi Dont buy a control module......had the same on mine , take off the connector on the back of the bulb holder causing the trouble , run 2 wires from the good side to the rear of the light that is disconnected attach to the 2 connectors to the terminals inside and leave the wiring harness off, then when the left side high beam comes on the right will come on aswell, used it on mine for weeks seems to work ok.

hope its a help.

Thanks for sharing with me this info. This is what I was planning to do, except disconnecting the right head light conductor at the control module and connecting it to the left head light conductor to make it look cleaner and not having to run loose wires under the hood. One thing I am conserned about is whether the "triac/ Transistor" inside the module is capable of suporting both left and right head lights load?

Thanks any way.
Roger
