yes, most people do mix the two and even a few more supplements, i dont use any, i see it as cheating 9 but i dont have a problem w/ other people who do choose to use it) , so i couldnt tell you the doses, but i can tell you to be careful, take the supplements for 6 weeks, and then take 6 weeks off, 6 on 6 off 6 on 6off and etc.or else you will overwork your muscles and lost lots of progress, my friend joey took creo, and he didnt do the 6 week on/off system, he got up to 235 on the bench, but took it for too long, overworked his muscles, and he dropped fron 235 to 185 in one week, strength that will not come back with just rest, he had to take a break and then work to gain it all back again

i dint know taking creatine was such a rigorous chore, how can you OVER WORK your muscles by taking creatine. :eek7: Reaserch has shown its best to take creatine year round and not cycling it. and creatine has shown no major health risks if taken as recomended. Mix it with your whey i do that, use one avrege size table spoon. oh and its five grams per serving not 25. creatine is not cheating its not a steroid.

i didnt say it was a rigorous chore, i just said to be careful. in joeys case (as i described above) his doctor informed him that his drop off was a dirct result of takeing creo for an extended amount of time. I talked to my friend ben's personal trainer and nutritionalist and that is where i got the 6 weeks on 6 weeks off program they also said that it was done in order to prevent such a drop off. As far as weather or not it is cheating it is all opinion, i my self consider it cheating, but i said very clearly in my first post that i have no prob w/ others using it. Although you do ingest small amounts of creo in your daily diet, i see taking supplements containing larger amounts of it as cheating, because it allows gains much greater than what could be done without the supplements. I take a good deal of pride in knowing that m strength comes w/o the help of supplements.

it is recommended to take only about 5 grams of creatine per day, but up to 10 grams the first week as a load period, but taking too much poses a risk to your liver, which converts unused creatine into creatanine( or something like that) that you urinate out, so dont take too much.anyway i dont feel its cheating, though i am not taking it myself at the moment. i have before, but am now just taking protein supplements. steroids are cheating cause they do the work for you, with creatine you do the work, it just lets you work a little harder and helps out a little with protein.

it basically just gives your muscles more energy. When you work out, your muscles get most of their energy from Adenosine Triphosphate (3 phosphate groups), but after being used Adenosine Triphosphate loses one phosphate group and becomes Adenosine Diphosphate (2 phosphate groups) . What creotine does is give one phosphate group to the Adenosine Diphosphate, reforming the Adenosine Triphosphate molecule, and allowing your muscles to use it for energy once again.
but the main reason i dont take it is because it has only been available as a dietary supplement since the early 90s, so we really dont know if it has any long term side effects. We are talking about something that gives your muscles more energy, it doesnt gaurentee that your muscles can handel it. That is why some people drop off when taking it over a long period of time, their muscles couldnt really handle the amount of work they were able to do due to the increased amounts of energy. However, this is something that acts differently on different people, so your own results may be nothing like this, some people see absolutely no difference on/off creatine, some see a huge diff.
i can see using it if you absolutely need to gain large amounts of strength and dont have a huge amount of time, but as far as eeryday working out, as a 16 year old w/ a 325 pound bench, i can tell you that hard work and dedication to your lifting is all you need.
