i had blown a speaker (right rear) (5 speaker system) and my whole system stoped working so i took it to best buy and the just bypassed the speaker so they would all work agian now i installed new speakers my self and they all work exept that one how do i fix it to put it back in the system?

when you put in the new speaker, how did you hook it up? did you use the factory wires that were there or was there a second set of wires run? im thinking that best buy unhooked the factory amps and ran speaker wire to each individual speaker from the head unit. if thats what they did, and you hooked the speaker up to the factory wiring, it wouldnt work because the factory amps are not wired in...

yeah they did buy pass the factory amps b/c i got a new head unit it worked for about a day w/ my new unit then it quit working

ok, so if you hooked the speaker up to the factory wiring than you should have to run speaker wire from the head unit back to the, well, speaker. thats the only way that i know of to bypass the factory amps. i dont know of any part you can buy that will do...

its really not that hard, the harness for the head unit is labelled for front/rear, left/right speakers. ofcourse you have to remove the center console and the panelling in the back seat to run the wire, but its not that bad...
