Starter leaking oil

I've got oil leaking from around the starter on an '87 Dodge Caravan with a 3.0L V6 (sweet car--it's got fake wood panneling on the sides ;) ). Any ideas what would be causing this? I've drained all the oil, can I probably take the starter off to look at it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Starters don't leak oil. No need to remove.
There is an oil pressure sending unit next to the starter and oil filter which is more likely the cause and should be checked.

Yeah, the oil must be leaking somewhere else and just seeping around the starter. I'm concerned, then, that it's the rear main seal--don't think I could fix that one myself.
I checked the filter--it was leaking a bit, but that's not where most of the oil is coming from.
What does the oil pressure sending unit look like? There is a little gizmo that looks pretty coated with oil that's hanging above the starter, that could be the sending unit I suppose. Any good way to tell whether or not that's really it?
Whatever it is, I'm going to try and clean up the whole area, fill it back up with oil, and run it to see if I can figure out where the leak's coming from...
Thanks a ton!!!

On second thought, you're absolutely right... The rear main seal isn't even positioned over the starter on this car. I cleaned up the area, filled the engine back up with oil, and ran it. I took another look and the oil is definitely coming out of the oil pressure sender unit (I'm assuming that's the sensor sticking out of the side of the engine right next to the oil filter) like you said.
Any advice on how to proceed?
Thanks again!

The oil pressure sending unit costs about $15 or so. It just screws in.
