95 t-bird? the best? your gonna miss the old car. What happened to it?

if the oo cavy is a Z24 its not the worst choice, its a high 15 second stock car, and with the 2,000 dollar GM supercharger it can be a mid 14 second car. But if its the base model 2.2L 115HP, your screwed for getting any performance out of it.

I decided to buy a 99' Dodge Neon(laugh all you want, but I've been wanting a 4-cylinder for a while now). It's not as bad as I thought it would be.

Like I said: Laugh all you want...I enjoy a challenge. Sad thing is; my friend said he already ordered the neons for my b-day(wednesday) :rofl:. You wouldn't happen to be psychic would you :uhoh: ?

BTW: The Cavy was more rice than this 2 door Neon.

its all good... atleast you didnt buy a honda! one of my good friends actually has a very quick N/A neon... he runs 13.9 ~ not bad for a N/A neon, good luck with it man.. hope it works out for ya

Thanks man. BTW, I only know 2 Hondas around here that actually run. One of my friends has a Neon R/T(I forget what year) with a new motor(not sure about that yet) and a new exhaust. I wonder if I could give him a run for his money :evillol: ?

a stock neon wont give a neon R/T a run for its money. I used to have an old 2.2L base model cavy and my buddy had the 16V DOHC neon, mine was auto his was manual, and everytime we raced it was a dead even race. Those neons can be fast with some major weight reduction, bolt ons, driving skills, other than that, plan on that car being low 17s high 16s stock.

DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors... Mitsu and Chrysler split in 94 ending DSM that year... now my car is a 97 so i am well out of the range of DSM ;) but since the cars basically have the same platform and identical engines people consider 95-99 eclipses/talons = DSM too... which in return isnt true! so there!
