Ok so i have bought a 89 crx si and its yellow. mint condition high milage no biggy then i go tit home and find problems
all for brakes were gone. back were so gone that there was no shoes left and where all rusted tight.
now i have got it fix and now a electrical problem.
if im over 4k rpm in ANY gear with high beams on or when my LEFT turn signel is on, my dash gose nuts:
the tack starts to bounce all over, the temp gauge gos to the H the high beams on or off will start to flicker. and the LEFT NOT RIGHT turn signel will also flicker. all will do this till i shift to a higher gear or let off the gas.

Sounds like the hydrocilator... i learned about this thing on fox's "when cars attack" apparrently henry fords evil cousin installed a little device called the hydrocilator that causes cars to go crazy..... jk
i have had a problem like this too.... when i used my left turn signal the car would shut off..... never did figure it out.. i sold that car to some poor fool

you have a dash clock... man one of those would be nice. As for the problem... eh... hum... thats really odd man. I would start by taking the guage pod out and drivingi t without it and see if that fixes it, if so get a new one.
