I wonder why do my wheels bounce when i launch my FWD. I have good tires. Is there a reason and when its wet it dosent do it but on dry roads it bounces like crazy. Could it be because i dont have low profile tires?

Because when you launch a FWD the weight transfers to the rear of the vehicle, away from the front wheels that are trying to spin. On a rwd this gives you better traction.

When it is wet you are probably doing the same thing, just not hearing the wheels skip, or you aren't accelerating fast enough.

yeah my eclipse 9 used to do the same , and i kinda figured out that it was because my tired we overpressured, too much air, now my car doesn't do that anymore, and just to share with you ppl, a couple weeks ago, i raced a 2nd gen eclipse , with perf muffler and cold air aintake, and i didn't have any modds in my car and i still won, now i got the muffler and the comp chip, i be racing the same dude in 2 weeks

If you are "bouncing" I would guess that would be wheel hop. Wheel hop is BAD and something that you don't want to subject your car to.

get a better suspension. the stock one is very bouncy. a better suspension will help stablize the traction.
