I was wondering if you guys had any tips to weight reduction besides the AC and going on a diet. Like any metal parts you can take off that have no real use. Any Tips would help thanks.

smaller and lighter rims.
carbon fiber hood.
racing seats and take the rear ones out.
spare tire and tools.
washer fluid tank.
stero, cruise.
lighter aftermarket steering wheel w/o airbag.
take off spoiler
take out power window motors and replace with manual RS ones
Atkins diet for yourself.

PS I saw some carbon fiber fenders on ebay...if they are carbon fiber LOOK, then they're not really cf, just metal with cf paint job...real cf fenders would reduce weight alot too. cf hoods are sweet too.

Eh, taking the back seats, doesnt take off much weight as it looks (what? 3 pounds), plus if you do take 'em out and leave it blank back there, then it will look to ghet0 (IMO)

Plus, im guessing your car is a daily driver? And you dont really want a all star drag car, so why would you want to take out the AC, back seats, stereo? I suggest you do some lil stuff, maybe a CF hood, fenders, lighter rims, maybe loose the spare, ect... I mean its not like your trying to race kevin or anything like that :D besise, I belive kevin still has his AC on his car, and still gets to run that fast....

i am worried about getting carbon fiber stuff off the internet. If its anything like the body kit i got it wont fit right and there is no returns so lets say i buy fenders and a hood and they dont fit right then what? There are no shops around here that sell stuff so im worried about getting them off the net. And i am guessing you cant shape carbon fiber and do stuff to it as much as you can fiberglass and urathane.
