Shudder/Hesitation At 60MPH+

Sometimes, Not all the time, When I'm going 55-70mph in my 97 Tahoe, I feel a skip or a shudder, but only briefly. My transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and OverDrive. I've had lots of people tell me different things ranging from my transmission or lockup converter to my fuel injectors or driveshaft yoke. Anybody else ever dealt with this problem in a 95-99 Tahoe/Yukon?

I'm currently having the same problem on my daughters '95 cutlass. What a learning experience. After a few weeks of troubleshooting, I learned more from a transmission parts supplier than anyone else. Contact a company like [B]Dacco (800) 44DACCO (443-2226). They remanufacture torque converters. Have them give you a couple of their distributors closest to you. Then try to get the business owner or manager of the transmission parts supplier on the phone. They could be a great source to run your symptoms by. They see and hear it all everyday. Hope this helps
