2000 Caravan Code

I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan, V6 3.3L, Auto, Air.....
The check engine light is on, so I took it to autozone.
The code they were able to pull was "P1698" & The only info they were able to give me was "Aux Input" and "Aux Output." They told me to contact the dealer for more info, and the dealer said that code is useless to them, and they'd have to do their own diagnosis ($90, plus the labor charges based on time).
I am hoping someone will be able to help me out with this.
Some symptoms of the car: A high pitched hiss/squeal when accelerating. The Coil & Spark Plugs are brand new.
Someone suggested that maybe its the emission control module or something like that, but they're not sure.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance!!!!

As always check the fuses and power supplies first.
This link has the repair flow chart for the code 1698.

You need to do the reply on the original person who posted. I just gave what limited information that I had found. Hopefully that person will reply to you.

I believe it ended up being that the main engine wire harness was damaged in an accident prior to us buying the car, so the connection was loose...
We Replaced the wireharness, and almost all the problems went away, except the annoying noise is still there, and nobody can figure out exactly where it's coming from, since it only comes from under the hood when the car is moving + accelerating...
