auto trans want a stick

how hard is it to do a trans swap and were can i find the man trans and can i just pull the cansole out of a z with a man trans of can i buy one.

its not that hard to do the swap.. go to your local junk yard get a 5 speed from a 81 to 83 tranny or get a 83 maxima 5 speed.. works the same as the Zs tranny.. get a flywheel as well and dont forget to get the dust cover for the manul tranny.. its the plate that is between the tranny and engine block.. also get all the hydrolic lines for the slave and clutch cylinder.. get the pedals as well... the swap should only take you a good weekend for a pretty mechanicaly inclined person to do...

I have an '83 that I'm pulling the trany and all the other parts you listed out of, I noticed there are wires going to the Clutch pedel. Do you know what these are for and if I will have any problem putting this trany in my '80? Feel free to Emailme or just reply here [email protected]
