I was just wondering why people joined the AF forums and what keeps them here?
I'll start:
I joined AF back in 11-08-2001 due to the Skylinesdownunder forums being down and Igor offered to host them (and us).
I have stayed with AF because I enjoy(ed) the OT section and the people in it. I have also found the modelling section which has now become my home away from home:)

I joined in Dec last year after Google searching for forums...I needed something to amuse me at home,we are miles from any decent entertainment.
I stayed because there are some really neat and funny people here, and it's much easier to get a good conversation on the boards than out in the paddock.

I actually found AF through Google when I was looking for into on R33 GT-Rs. I started lookin around the Skyline forum and said to my self, "Wow, these people know their stuff" so I signed up, watched for a week or two and I'm still learning atleast one new thing per day :D

I've been here nearly a year now and found it through G-Forces on his site ( www.g20.net ) when looking for parts for my car.
I stay because of the cool ppl i have come to know, the G20/Modelling and OT sections.
In general it just a Bloody Cool Place to be part of. It has its bad bits at times but i think the mods do a pretty good job here to control it.

I found this place about a year ago from word of mouth around another board I frequent. I come back because there have been some interesting people on here.

I came for the same reason as Tazdev. When the Skylines Downunder forum crashed. I stayed because of the variety AF has to offer and all the great people, though I do not post as much as I did during December.

I found this place when PureHonda started having problems. Posted a few times, then PH migrated here and I've been bumming around ever since :silly: It's a great place, cool members and plenty of knowledge :)

I found AF thru another popular board I used to go to, but found AF to be more appealing. I like how we have a broader range of age on here, and have people from all over the world on here. It's very interesting to get viewpoints from people of different backgounds, age groups, etc.

I was drunk one night, and started playing on the internet. The next day, I had all these emails in my mailbox saying there were replies to my posts. So of course I had to check it out. :bloated:

I came here when Girlie Girl Racing’s boards closed down and I’ve stayed ever since. I love it here! :D

I remember that place. I never posted, but other message boards talked about it a bit.

I found AF from the write up in Sport Compact Car.
I stayed because (for the most part) every one replies intelligently and peacefully. No one gets all up in arms because of one person and there aren't any fights about newbies and crap like that. Go to www.gamefaqs.com and see all the crap and idiots over there. Everyone is so caught up in a number beside their name. Here it's different and quite enjoyable too. Of course this forum has already cost me a couple hundred dollars (car models, they should soooo have a warning over there!). I also stayed because of all the neat features, like PM's, seeing everyone who is in a forum, seeing if people are online, editing a message, attachments, avatars, site stats.
Thanks Igor and all the mods!
