Man fourth stage inital d is awesome whos seen it?! Man I don't wanna ruin anything for anyone. So, whoever comes in here is gonna be dissapointed...

TAKUMI USES WEIGHT SHIFTING AND LETS OFF LOTS OF THE CARS WEIGHT FROM THE FRONT RIGHT OF HIS WHEELS AND FLOATS OVER A DEEP GUTTER AND STARTS DRIFTING IN AN AREA WITH NO GUARD RAILS AND IS RIPPING THROUGH GRASS!!! CRAZY STUFF!

yeah it was pretty sweet ^^ I figured there would have been a better ending though .Something more insperational. But the race was sweet. Ive been to ep 4 of stage 4, I really wanted to see the rx-7 and the Integra run. Is there a Fifth Ep Of Stage 4???

Hell yes there is! Fourth Stage is the current series of Initial D being run in Japan at this very moment. Now what they do is everyother month they release two episodes of one series. So the next two episodes 5 & 6 were probably already played for this month.

Yeah, its funny though. We already know what happens before the story is even shown to us. Everyone knows they lose and they go and get Touch. He's a Todoh Racing school graduate. And obviously Tak aint gonna lose so Its gonna be crazt to watch but we all know what the outcome is going to be.

I just hope Tokypop drops Initial D, and gives it to a better company, that wont screw up Initial D, by the time 2nd stage comes to the US. 4th stage is awesome, and I hope it isn't ruined by Tokyopop. I don't want them to change Dogfight for that crap music they put in the American version of Initial D

i don't think so... tokyopop is so big with all the manga's/movies it dubs over and releases.

Tokyopop Initial D dub - crappy, not worth watching unless out for ghits and shiggles. (the out-takes are pretty funny, though. It's really priceless to hear Takumi say "I'm Tak Fujiwara, bitch.")

Tokyopop Initial D sub - basically the same as you'd get from any fansub. It's still on the DVD, untouched, with all the same footage and same music as the Japanese version.

I have every episode of initial D on dvd... i've burnt episodes 1-4 from 4th stage to dvd i have 5-6 but im waiting for 7-8.. then burn 4 episodes each dvd. its awesome :)

You know thats illegal right? And why are you jacking my thread? I was talking about what actually happened. And here you are talking about owning bootleg DVD's and why they shouldnt dub Initial D. And if you actually owned an english dubbed DVD it has the Japanese original option.

I bought all the stages on DVD from Japan right before Tokyo Pop started releasing them in the U.S. I'm very glad I did. Last night I just ordered episodes 1-6 on DVD from Japan.

You're right, it isn't, but episodes 1-6 are out and you can buy them on DVD. Just get on eBay and you can get them for around $20. I've finished watching 1-6 and I can't wait for more. I can't wait to see Takumi race Bunta.

However, again, the question of "are they legitimate DVD's or bootlegs" comes up.

For instance, legit DVD's are region coded. Region 1 DVD's are coded to play on US market DVD players. Region 2, Japan. And the list goes on. Bootleggers do not region code DVD's, hence the oft spoke of "Region 0" DVD that can be played on any player.

This is the primary tipoff that you are buying an illegal DVD made by bootleggers.

Another tipoff is that the typical Japanese DVD release costs about $50 American, contains no extras, no subtitles, and contains no more than 2 or3 episodes. Also, it's often years before a TV series hits DVD in Japan. One of the reasons that it takes so long for a series to be released in the States is because the Japanese companies that create the series do not want their DVD sales taken by the far more inexpensive American DVD's.

Hence, we have to wait and the regions are coded.

If you see Initial D, or any other anime, for sale on eBay and it is listed Region 0, it has lots of episodes on very few discs, and is at a low low price, stay the hell away from it. It's an illegal bootleg and should not be purchased. Furthermore, the seller should be reported to the authorities as international forces are cracking down on bootlegging hard.

Yuh... I bought the Chinese DVD colections and was quite happy! I've heard very bad things about the the Tokyo-Pop versions... $20 a DVD? I paid like $150 including shipping for every Stage that was made...

As far as the new Stage sounds cool... hope they didn't lose it's flair... any idea how many Episodes for the new version?

thats not true at all. For instance, take Gantz, which first started airing around march, finished in june and was on dvd in july. And im pretty sure that episodes 1&2 of 4th stage are on dvd now (legit ones too).

yes, legitment DVD's are out for the fourth stage (50.12$) region 2, no subtitles. they come out during the week the new episodes air.

ive watched episode 7 and 8, in ep 7, bunta gets his WRX and smokes takumi like he was standing still, though takumi doesnt know who is in the WRX.

episode 8 is kinda lame, its with ryosuke racing against the girl in the black rx7 fd
