4G91 transmission help!!!

Swapped a 4G13(carburettor) to 4G91 DOHC. Did most of wiring except the set that included two radiator fans and ECI(hooked up) and 3 more(don't have a clue)...problem is that the transmssion stays permanently in 2nd gear(even when attempting manual selection) and reverse...additionally I have no tachometer function but speedo is good. I am figuring tachometer sensing is the problem. Need info on tachometer wiring info.....transmission is good. Any help is appreciated. Like to try before I see electrician.:o)
