Parts for the eclipse

All right. I just get back to the barracks comin from Mickey D's, and this guy asks me if the car was my Eclipse. Turns out the guy had his car impounded, but when it came back the car was minus an engine and a transmission. Now the guy has mad aftermarket parts for the car and he wants to sell 'em. I'm all for it at this point and time.
Here are the rims he wants to get rid of, 17's he said

$200 for those boys right there.
He also said something about Matrix something-or-other springs, lowered the body two inches, $100 and a trade of my stock springs so he has something to take the car to the junkyard with.
Now I'm thinking like this: :lol2: :grinno: :iceslolan:
Would I be correct in thinkin like that?

the rims looks nice but, about the 2" springs with 17" rims is a lot to lower an eclipse, if you drive it daily you are goig to hit your bumper, oil pan and exhaust ever 5 minutos , and other thing if you lower the car 2" may be the tire will be covered by the fender personally I don't like how it looks.
But good luck men I hope you can make a good deal without having this problems

95 Eclipse comes with 16's stock right? If I had some low profile tires that wouldn't be too big a deal, would it?

I have a ac compresser, it blew out really cold air before i took it out. If any one wants it $5 plus shipping and handleing.

Good deal on the rims if the tires are in any kind of decent condition!

Those rims are a hell of a deal...if there in as good a shape as that websites. With low pros i think they would work, just not with the lowering kit IMO.

The rims are worth it as long as they are in decent cond. As for lowering the car, i think it would be kinda risky lowerin 2 inches with 17's even if your have low profiles. It would be better to ask someone who had 17's and had lowered it, cuz i havent done it myself just from what i know.

Good Luck

Ahh.... It feels good to be back.

i think 1.3" is about as tasteful as you can get for the 2g w/ 17s or 18s and scraping CAN be avoided...dont' drive your car
