Check Engine Light - Quest '94

I have this Light going on CHECK ENGINE , But the Van still runing good
The light is no always on.

You should service your vehicle ASAP.
It could be that you need a diagnostic to see what the problem is.
Possibly this can affect your emission test.

I'm having the same problem with my 94.. i noticed that when 'cheap' gas is used the light comes on.. better gas seems to help.. it only calls to use unleaded gas but looks like plus or premium works better..
I don't think you can scan the vehicle if the light is not on.. not sure if the code is stored or not.. maybe someone can chime in and let us know..

My '95 quest, along with someone elses i know has a ??safety feature?? that when you top off the gas tank, the light comes on..... if that helps...

These vans don't have a "fuel top off" safety feature. Light probably caused by a bad fuel cap.

This is most likely your O2 sensor in the front manifold.
