georgia porsche club

is there one? I was driving near my home (los angeles, CA) on the freeway and saw a long line of new carreras, a few boxters, and 2 cayennes. They were are VERY dirty, had black wheels, and georgia plates. Some had body damage as well.

Any ideas?

PCA has regions covering all of Georgia. No ideas why they'd be on the other side though.
