steering leak

i have a small leak in my 97 jetta lll vr6, out of my my rack on the pass. side boot, and was wondering if there is a wiper seal that just need replaced or is a seal on the tie rod asy. cause most of you know you can buy the rod asy. or do i need a rebuild kit if there is one, or replace the rack. i am tired of paying $30 for a bottle of pent. s11 fluid. your help is needed, thank you very much.

You have to replace the rack.

can i stiil use my old tie rod asy. and rod ends

The inner ends come with the rack, the outers can be reused if you want.
