hey everyone, i'm trying to locate junction box #1, which contains the tail lights relay. the tail lights have stopped working so i checked the fuse and that was fine so i'm trying to locate the relay but the haynes manual does a poor job at describing where Junction Box 1 is actually located, all it shows is that it's on the driver's side somewhere...well before i go taking out everything to find it, i was wondering if anyone here could help me out....thanks. :-)

hey did you find it it is above the fuses the round silver relay tomjanovich
I am willing to bet a large amount of money that it is the switch in the back.
take off the panel on the drivers side on the inside of the trunk that covers the back of the tailight there should be a small white box that the tail liight wires go through. replace that. i had the same with mine.
look on ebay and email someone parting out a supra, new they are like 150 bucks or something.
try that. if they work when the brakes go on, then they are still good, so dont waste money buying new tail lights.
