Timing belt

I own a 2002 Corolla that now has approx. 45,000 miles on the Odometer. When should I consider replacing the timing belt? I assume there's not an exact mileage answer--but would rather be safe than sorry.
Also, how long to the rear brakes normally last (average driver). I've already replaced the front and might do the brakes when I replace the timing belt.

Your car should have a timing chain not a timing belt for that year,so you shoud not worry about it (it last for a long time). Transmission oil, coolant + thermostat need to be replace/change at that miles.
