I just bought a new Sony CDXF5505 head unit, for my 94 LX, and I'm very impressed. I know with Sony the expectation are already high, but let me tell you, you will be blown away. With the stock speakers the bass and everything sounds great, with almost no rattling. So if you are looking for a good quality unit and don’t mind spending about $155.34 (including shipping, www.buyriteelectronics.com). Personally I think that this is a great deal considering that they sell for $189.99 at ABC Warehouse! And don’t go there thinking that they will price match you because they won’t, that was the first thing that I did. Well anyway, as you can see I'm very impressed, so go out and get one of these for your T-bird.

Oh and I forgot to add that most Sonys are supposed to have this great sound but this one has this setting that makes the sound feel like it is right is front of you.
