oil useage

well my car goes through about 2 qts of oil every day. there is no rings busted valves broke. there is just something sucking the oil and blowing it out the muffler. does any one have any clue wht may be just wasting the oil pretty much

yeah im sure that its not being taken. i need to find out why its using so much though. it would help a lot if some body would give me a few clues on what it may be.

So you dont have any leaks out the oil pan or anything though?

i got the same problem i dont have any leaks either it just goes in one way and puffs out the other i dont know what is wrong either??

are you burning out enough to blind drivers behind you? look into things like new motor or swap being to burn that much headgasket rings everything must be hurting and a nice running OEM motor is probbly cheaper then fixin

LOL well think about it...2 quarts is A LOT of oil to be burning in a day. I have heard of losing like 2 quarts every few thousand miles, and come to think...I thought that was bad :rofl:

I use about a quart a week. Depends how hard I drive my car.

that sucks, mine hasnt used a drop of oil in three months. Shure your valve seals and rings arnt shot?

damn man my friends were telling me about how hondas burn alot of oil and how mine will but i dont use oil at all, whenever it comes time to change my oil i have it exactly full still on the dipstick. I dont know but thats really wierd that you use so much oil.

mine just started this recently. i love the car but im gonna have to get a newer one. it really sux.

dude my d15 was about as bad as yours is and my main goal everyday was to try and blow my motor but it never happend. so i just ended up buying an ls motor off some dude and pullin my p.o.s. and not worry about the oil problem any more.

i got the saMe problem with mine, i think that's the rings, go through about a quart every fill up, only 145k on it, time for a zc or maybe.....b16
