I need some help guys and girls...

I had the darn bearing in my tilt steering go out.. originaly I thought it was the torx bolts loosened so I took it apart to find some ball bearings.. lol.... anyways I ran to the local junkyard and got a good deal on a 1994 steering unit that had been rear ended with only 15000 miles on it... (my truck has 210,000) So I put it in.. what a bresse compared to disecting it.... about an our later I was riding around and notced.. What the HECK.. no CRUISE !!!!

Alright... My old colmn has Cruise on it but this switch doesn't...
Can I just change the switch out and everything work ???

I have the tools to take apart the new colmn becuase I had originaly thought I needed to do that to the old one before learning it was beyond repair. How do I actualy take the swtich out.. just get down to it unplug and swap ??? Does it have to be done by going into the column???

AGH I had no idea chevy tilt automatics didn't all have cruise.

I believe it is the same as the old ones. take the wheel off, then the plate to see the signal switch. take the screw out off the signal and pull not to hard it might get caught on something.. asuming it has wipers then fish the other wires through on the other switch.what year do you have?

It is a 1990 model.. the steering colmn is from a 94 model.
The wires for the normal switch hook up no problem but I am left with the cruise control wires.. not sure where they hook... it is 2 super small wires together insulted with a small clip style prong on it... .

have no clue where it plugs into.....
