I have a 89 crx si and it has a rough idle. The tach bounces from 1000 to 500 during idle. I think it's my tps sensor which i had to replace since my oringal was shot. I know the volt at closed throttle has to be .5v but which wire on the tps harness to i piggyback into to read the volts. As far as I know wot is 4.5 volts, but not exactly sure. My car does have the d16z6 in it and I duno if that'll make a difference or not.

I'm a firm believer that in order to fix a TPS, you go to a wreckers, pick up a new throttle body with an untampered TPS on it and bolt it on as a unit. I've had to do it once and haven't looked back. The reason a TPS is factory sealed is so that it isn't tampered with.

I would like to just go out and get the whole throttle body, but don't have enough money. I'll try the middle wire and adjust from there
