i have a 1997 chevy k1500 pickup i bougt a set of djm lowering hangers and shackles during my install today ive come to realize the hanger they sent me is a little smaller length wise than the location of the stock holes from the old hanger the shackles fit fine dropping the truck 2 inches but im missing out on the extra 2 inches the hangers can give me the only info ive found is a 4x4 drop kit by belltech which cost around 400$ it includes everything that i already have except the 4x4 hangers my question is can i or should i drill 2 holes into the frame to make the hanger fit 2 or the 4 holes fit fine im just wondering it this is going to effect anything down the road if anyone has any info that would be great thanks im advance tom
