Programming 2002 transponder key

Ok, I bought a replacement FOB and programmed it for my car. Then I made a spare key but it didn't work... after some research I discovered that the key is a "transponder key" and needs to be programmed.

I called all the dealers in AZ and they want ~$60 for the key and ~$100 for programming it.

Is there a simple way to program it like there is for the FOB remote?

No . Must be programmed at the dealer with the nissan scanner .
