Did you check to see if the fan motor is still good. Pull the fan out, really easy. One bolt one set of wires to unplug. Check it out. I have two of these cars and have gone thru several fans. problem is the fans run almost all the time. The v-6 engine is so big for such a small compartmetn that it is practically necessary for it to run all the time.

The a/c has a relay to turn the fan motor on when the a/c is turned on. Tom94gagt your problem is mostlikely a $10 part. the temp switch that tell the fan when the engine is warmed up. it should be located toward the bottom of the radiator. as for the original post, i forgot to mention that there should not be a fusible link in that line. there should be a dedicated fuse in one of the fuse boxes for that. check your owners manual.
